Adventure 3

After watching Mummy Do the Zip wire (See Adventure 2) we wanted to have a go ourselves.

We set off for Grannys House (which is 4 hours away so its quite a long drive), when we arrived we ate lunch and chilled for a bit, before setting off to Adventure parc Snowdonia in Conwy Valley.

Once we arrived we had a quick look around before meeting our instructors. They showed us how to put on our harnesses and hard hats, they then gave us a safety talk before walking us up the 12m launch tower.

it was uncomfortable walking in the harness up the metal see through stairs which made me feel funny because you could see the floor, it was a bit scary at the top waiting to go down but once we started going down it wasn’t scary at all and really fun. At the end we met back up with Millie and Granny and got some ice cream before heading back home.

Adventure 2

We thought we were prepared for Adventure 2, as we had known about it for a couple of weeks. We had cleared our diaries and planned a week off together as a family, day one (Monday) was supposed to be a trip to the seaside, and an overnight stay in a premier inn. So we packed the car with supplies and headed off to a ‘surprise’ beach location. However the surprise got even bigger as Mum and Dad handed us a map of Center Parcs and told us that instead of a day trip to the beach we were heading to Elveden for a week in an executive lodge (with our own sauna!!), with yummy dinners out, exciting activities and lots of bike riding…

When we arrived at the Center Parcs entrance we got our lodge number and headed down to the car park, but we couldn’t access the lodge until 3 o’clock so we parked up and left all our stuff in the car except our bike helmets ’cause we were hiring bikes. When we got to the bike center we gave them our room number and they let us through to choose our bikes, they were really nice and comfy. we cycled to the center of center parcs where we explored and found a map of the whole place, we found a cafe where we had a snack. Once we had finished it was time to head over to our lodge (we stayed in lodge 655). You can see what we got up to below.

Here we are outside our woodland lodge.
When we arrived we got our bikes and then had a drink in the cafe.

One of our favourite things to do was go to the swimming pool where they had lots of slides and a big pool with a wave machine. They also had a ride called Tropical Cyclone, which was really scary and Miles was swearing all the way down!! There was also a Star Bucks with tasty food that we ate on the poolside. The wave machine was so cool, it made massive waves.

Here we are in our wet suites ready to go to the Aqua Parc!

Adventure 1

This morning we headed off in the car, but we had no idea where we were going which was exciting.

When we arrived in London we had an impromptu visit to Regents Park, where we hired a pedalo, it was quite tiring having to pedal but very fun.

The next stop on our adventure was Covent Garden, first of all we stopped off at the Royal Opera House for a quick snack break, before heading off to Waterstones and choosing a book.

After watching some Covent Garden street entertainment, we headed to one of our favourite restaurants “Sticks And Sushi” where we ate some amazing Sushi.

After our delicious meal we went to see Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the London Palladium starring Sheridan Smith and Jason Donovan, the set was amazing and we really enjoyed it.

It was a great day out and we really enjoyed our selves, can’t wait for the next one.

Our Birthday

Today is the 30th of July which means… IT’S OUR BIRTHDAY!! Today we turned 13 and to kick the morning off we opened presents!

As presents we got Lego, a pool table and a dart board, each year our birthday has different themes and this year’s theme was Games. One of our biggest presents was that our Mum and Dad have set us 13 adventures to go on in our 13th year I can’t wait to find out what they are (you can follow are adventures on the websites blogs so stay tuned!)…

In the afternoon we went to Milton Keynes, first stop was the Lego shop where we bought a set each. After we had finished in the Lego shop we headed over to Game to look at Xbox games, Computer Mouse and Keyboards. Once we had finished there we crossed the isle to the EE store and upgraded our phone package from Samsung s6’s to Samsung A40 (Aston) and Google Pixel 3a (Miles), we were very excited to have brand new phones. Once we had finished looking round the shops we went to yo sushi for dinner, it was delicious. After dinner we headed to the Cinema to see the new Lion King film, the animation was amazing! We then headed home and enjoyed the rest of the evening.

For our Birthday we also went to Southend on sea with our best friends Nathan & Joseph
